Why do we need to detox?

We live in an extremely toxic age. The increasingly dangerous level of environmental pollution brings us into inevitable contact with hazardous toxins in every facet of our daily lives.

The problem is further compounded by our unhealthy and stressful lifestyle. Improper and unhealthy diet, coupled with insufficient nutritional intake, lack of exercise, addition to drugs and medication, has made our human body very vulnerable to the accumulation of toxins within us.

The suppression of normal cellular and tissue activities caused by the formation of toxins not only weakens the immune system, it also adversely affects our general well being.

It is a known fact that our body has a self-regulating mechanism, which strives to eliminate and remove toxic substances. These toxic substances are produced by the body and include free radicals, uric acid, lactic acid and intestinal gases. As a result, our body will be prone to chronic diseases such as insomnia, fatigue, headache, gastric, indigestion, poor skin and premature aging if not eliminated.

It is therefore imperative for us to cleanse and detoxify our bodies.
